Virtual – Gingerbread Baking & Decorating – Join us from home

Thank you for choosing to take a class with Le Dolci! We’re looking forward to meeting you and making delicious treats together! In the meantime, please look at our equipment and ingredient lists to prepare for class!

For this class, you will need the following equipment/ingredients:

  • Hand/ Stand mixer with paddle attachment OR wooden spoon and whisk
  • A large bowl
  • Fine mesh sieve
  • Plastic Wrap
  • Rolling pin or empty wine bottle
  • Baking sheet(s) with parchment paper
  • Cookie cutters/knife: to cut out festive shapes and/or a cup for circle-shaped cookies
  • Scissors
  • A few spoons

Gingerbread Dough

  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1/3 cup firmly packed Light Brown Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Molasses
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour (plus extra for dusting/rolling out, ~1 cup)
  • Pinch of Baking Soda
  • Pinch of Salt
  • A few pinches Ground Cinnamon
  • A few pinches of Ground Ginger
  • A pinch of Cloves

Additional ingredients for decorating and serving

  • White chocolate or white coating chocolate (melted)
  • Candies or sprinkles to decorate
  • Icing Sugar to dust
