Virtual – Chelsea Buns

Thank you for choosing to take a class with Le Dolci! We’re looking forward to meeting you and making delicious treats together! In the meantime, please look at our equipment and ingredient lists to prepare for class!

For this class, you will need the following equipment:

  • Weight scale (metric, in grams) *optional
  • Stand mixer with a dough hook (if you do not have this don’t worry it can also be mixed by hand)
  • Rubber Spatula
  • A few large bowls
  • Rolling pin 
  • vegetable spray or butter for greasing baking pan
  • knife
  • Pan to bake cinnamon rolls in (this could be a glass cake pan, pie plate, a round cake pan, anything with a lip)
  • Pot
  • Whisk
  • Small offset spatula (if you cannot find this than a butter knife can substitute)
  • plastic wrap
  • 1 large dinner plate or serving dish

Don’t forget to look in the pantry for the following ingredients, or add them to the grocery list:

Brioche

  • 400g or 2 3/4 cups All purpose Flour (plus a little extra for dusting the table)
  • 4g  or 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 45g  or 1/4 cup Icing Sugar
  • 12g  3/4 tablespoon Instant Yeast
  • 120mL milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 81g or 1/3 cup soft butter

Filling

  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Soft Butter
  • 1 Tablespoon  Cinnamon
  • 1 cup Raw Nuts (Pecans or Walnuts)

Please measure out all your ingredients before the class begins and be sure to join the Zoom call a few minutes before the class is scheduled to start.
