Frequently Asked questions

Class Cancellation

Le Dolci is proud to be a small, local business. We require a minimum of 7 days notice for any class cancellations, which can then be transferred to another date or refunded.

If you are unable to attend, classes are transferable so you can send someone in your place. No refunds will be processed for missed classes. Should a class be cancelled for any reason, a full refund will be issued.

Cake Care

We recommend leaving the cake out of the fridge for at least 3 hours before serving. We only use real butter and for this reason it needs to warm up to room temperature for your cake to be at it’s optimal serving temperature. Once at the proper temperature, the buttercream will have a silky and smooth texture and be easy to slice and serve.

Pick-up/Delivery

We offer pick up 5 days a week during our business hours at 2700 Dufferin St Unit 13 and at Scarborough Town Centre Mall, Upper Level, next to the Body Shop and L’Occitane, 7 days a week.

Dietary Restrictions

We make gluten-free and vegan products. We operate in a facility that contains nuts.

Order Cancellation Policy

There will be no changes to size and design details once payment is received. Cancellations require 72 hours notice and will be provided with a credit. Custom cake cancellations require a week’s notice for a refund.

Cancellations with less than a week’s notice are at the discretion of the bakery, you may receive a credit.

We do not accept responsibility for items once the customer has received them, left our shop with their order.

We recommend using our Cake Careful team who deliver using a refrigerated van to ensure your product reaches you in perfect condition.
